Surfing Tips

Hey peeps,

As you may have guessed from seeing on on the server, im more or less a surfing n00b XD

Any tips to help me improve ... ?

head diagonally down the section of ramp it helps u build up speed also get a laser mouse if u already havent ive still got a roller and it makes it much harder

Hey man, the trick to jumping further of a surf ramp, is the flick.....

When you come towards the end of the surf ramp, you need to flick up towards the inside of the ramp, this will cause you to flick up into the air....

yeah u gotta use that to get to the jail on greatriver and any other long or high jumps

i tried and failed at that when i tried earlier on today XD

After loads or practice, i can now sometimes get to the jail on greatriver; just need ore practice tbh.

Lol, this alliance has been great. One of my clan ( |oS| DaveyT ) used to hate surfing, now i keep on siing him on your server and he says he loves it.

oh yeah i forgot to say, use a knife to surf its lighter so u go faster

woot i got a laser mouse, surfings so much easier, i make it nearly all time to pro room on rebel resistance, so more lasers now

I dont have a laser mouse.. and i think i need 1... All this junky stuff gets court up inside the mouse not leting the ball move so then i get owned, but i can still smurf pretty well with it ^^

If you're gonna spend some proper money on a gaming mouse, id recommend the Razer Deathadder without a doubt.

Simply put, the best gaming mouse out there!!

nah. My mouse is better for gaming it got more buttons, 2x click , its laser. so as I example for radio Im useing clicking wheel. for jumping just rotate wheel. For sending someone bullets in headshot 2x click. I also can use forward, back buttons for something else (radio commands, flashlight, nvg, reload and etc)... When I had another mouse (laser too) It was just like your, but not same company...So when i changed it I began playing css even better. And that mouse is good for internet too.

Unfortunatley i remain unconvinced. Razer is the leading brand in gaming peripherals, and their Deathadder has had amazing reviews from all and is still one of the leaders in the gaming mouse industry.

Type Rader Deathadder into google, and look at some of the reviews. While it may not have as many functions as some of the mice in the market, it more then makes up in precision and build quality. Once again i cannot recommend the mouse enough!

seriously pacman get a laser u can get one for around 15 pounds and they make surfing so much easier

Last time I had wheel mouse about 6 or 7 years ago... So I dunno how it feels with that mouse on surf

A laser mouse is defently better... But when your youst to a ball mouse then u like the ball mouse...

Don't have any links but if you go on Youtube and look there it's quite helpful. That is how I learnt but also my friend gave me good tip on how to go further cause before I just waited in straight line. Also at the start I thought you used to tap a/d to stay on

Actually they aren't DPI determines how sensitive the mouse is to smaller movements, higher DPI is often better.

an ex x dream ember taught me , tbh i dnt like to brag but on most maps me be pro and skillz
tips:
greatriver:
ok erm en going to top 1 flick right then left to give urself a boost , this rl helps and wen u get better ill show u on server how to fling ur self of the main ramp onto the spawn ramps to get urself up on the glass roof ontop of spawn
next one try and surf near botom of spawn ramps and near the middle of main 1 , that way u can get to the middle gun points or the under ramp awp point
i got more for greatriver ask if u want more

machine 2
ok on this 1 surf near bottom at all time! and if need ride to top wenu reach the end do a sid flick to get to main part top without secret way , also bunnyhop of jail glass just rigt and u can go into the middle were the buttons are in 1 jump!!
next 1 is simple , jump onto deagle ramp go onto cet place wilst bunnhoping bunny hop wilst going into to top ul force the ame to put urself into a sorta flying mode lol over there spawn for a sec

erm bunnyhop after second portal to automaticly get urself ontop of jail
use 1st base with awp so u cn sinper people in red bit and ...
